At Fulcrum, we value creative and supportive collaborations that surprise our community. Introducing our new partners, Savor Seattle. We are excited for you to discover a new product and small business in the Seattle area that aligns with our values of learning and serving.
Savor Seattle is a food tour service company. They specialize and pride themselves on being the go-to-food tour company. “We are experts at connecting adventurous guests with Seattle in the most unique, flavorful, and unexpected way.” However, when COVID-19 hit Seattle in March of 2020, Savor Seattle made a pivot in its business model and service offerings. They wanted to continue to offer exciting and new products to their customers and support their partners, but in a safe way for the community. They introduced The Iconic Market Box and it was an instant hit.
The Iconic Market Box is a food box delivered to your door weekly, solely comprising of foods and goods from Pike Place Market. “It’s the best of Pike Place Market, all in one box.” By doing this they have been able to support the local farmers and vendors of the market while ensuring health and safety for their customers and partners.
Savor Seattle approached Fulcrum with a new food box curated for Hispanic Heritage Month. They are featuring our single origin blend, Costa Rica Obata Maria José. This single-origin coffee is from Fulcrum Partner Blas’ family farm in Central Valley. Not only is Fulcrum featured in this box, other companies such as Seeking Kombucha, La Mexicana, TopoChico, Golden Wheat Bakery, and Maria Louisa Empanadas are also featuring some of their highlighted products. With each purchase, $5 will be donated to Casa Latina, a non-profit organization that supports and fights for progress for Latino immigrants by means of education, work, and community organization.
We are honored to be a part of this project and a new partner of Savor Seattle.
This box will be available for purchase on the Savor Seattle website in September 2020.
